Shipping

1. Processing Time

Because we work with handmade items produced in small quantities, processing your order may take slightly longer than with standard webshops.

  • Processing time: 1–5 business days

  • For custom-made items or during busy periods, delivery time may be extended. We will always keep you informed via email.

2. Shipping Options & Delivery Time

We currently ship within the Netherlands and selected European countries.

  • Netherlands: 1–2 business days after dispatch

  • Europe: 3–7 business days

  • Shipments are handled by trusted carriers such as PostNL.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your location and order weight.

  • Within the Netherlands: starting at €4.95

  • Free shipping on Dutch orders over €250

  • Europe: rates vary by country


Returns

We hope you’re happy with your purchase. However, if you'd like to return an item, you're absolutely welcome to do so.

1. Cooling-off Period

You have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it.

2. Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unwashed, unused, and undamaged

  • All original labels/tags must be attached

  • The item must be securely packaged and returned with the completed return form

Note: Personalized or custom-made items cannot be returned unless there is an error or damage.

3. Refunds

  • Once we receive your return in good condition, your refund will be processed within 5 business days

  • Refunds are issued via the original payment method

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the error was on our part

4. Return Costs

  • Return shipping costs are at your own expense

  • We recommend using a track & trace service for returns

5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different size or color, please return the original item and place a new order.


Received a Damaged or Incorrect Product?

We’re very sorry to hear that. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order at info@laviemarie.com, preferably with photos of the issue.
We will ensure a quick resolution — whether that’s a replacement, repair, or refund.
